Why do you make the AST Smart ECO VCM Modules?
A couple years ago I started developing issues with my 2008 Honda Accord. I would notice it would only have approx. 2.5 quarts of oil left from each change every 5K miles, and at the 70K mile mark I started noticing loss of power and decreased fuel efficiency. I pulled the spark plugs and saw that 3 of the 6 were very corroded and worn, with the #3 cylinder being the worst. I swapped spark plugs and all was OK.. for a while. Around 20K miles later I started having the same problems, and pulling the plugs revealed the same abnormal corrosion. After some research I concluded this was due to the VCM [Variable Cylinder Management] technology used on these engines. While Honda did not offer any official way to disable it, I found you could alter the way the computer reads the engine data to limit or prevent the VCM from engaging.

How difficult is it to install an AST Smart ECO VCM module?
If you can open your hood, have nimble hands and can unplug a connector, you meet all the requirements!
he AST Smart ECO VCM modules install inline between the engine coolant sensor and the computer to alter the way the computer reads the data. While no specific mechanical / automotive skills are necessary, you should not be afraid to work under your hood and get your hands a little dirty.

What type of refund policy do you offer?
